Homoeopathy is an art and a science which is based on the principle “Like Cures Like”. It was discovered by Dr.Samuel Hahnemann in the year 1796 while translating a book where he came across some article about the powers of a medicinal substance. He himself took the substance after preparing it and found some symptoms similar to malaria.

So he started collecting various products from plants, minerals, animals and thus prepared medicines from all the available sources.
